General

The Hooby LC90 E-Tronic is a 100% electric excavator. It has a net weight of 9.4 tons. The machine's driveline has been completely redesigned. It features new hydraulic controls and electric drives, resulting in a very economical and smoothly operated machine. The booms are positioned centrally on the superstructure next to the cab, making the boom ratio ideal for working right up to the tracks. 

Het Gradertronic systeem is standaard bij alle elektrische Hooby’s ingebouwd. Verder kan er met de CW10 of S50 snelwissel van voorzetstuk verwisseld worden. Door de wendbaarheid van de Hooby is deze ook zeer goed inzetbaar voor klussen in stedelijk gebied. Dat maakt deze machine een echte alleskunner. 

Interchangeable batteries

The machine is equipped with two interchangeable batteries. These batteries provide power for up to two days without charging in between. The machine can unload the batteries itself. This creates the possibility of leaving the machine in the field and taking only the empty battery with you to recharge. Daytime solar charging is also possible. 

The track drive is direct electric using electric track drives. This provides an extremely strong and fully independent drive system. This gives the machine more capacity than the diesel-powered Hooby LC90. The batteries are equipped with 10 kW on board chargers allowing the machine to be charged at any charging station. 

Mowing bucket

During the design of the electric Hooby, much attention was paid to mowing waterways. The boom lengths have been chosen so that it is possible to reach 9.5 meters with the extension boom. At the same time, it is still possible to unload close to the machine. The Hooby remains stable even with a 6.2-meter-long mower bucket. To create additional stability during boom extension, the counterweight can be extended.  

The Hooby's center of gravity sits very long because the batteries and hydraulic components are mounted in the undercarriage.
